Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 15th edition of Aero India, describing it as the "Kumbh of research," emphasizing its role in showcasing India's rising prominence in defense technology. The event serves as a platform for fostering international collaboration and technological advancements in the aerospace and defense sectors. This year's edition boasts participation from over 900 exhibitors, including 150 foreign companies, and delegations from 90 countries, underscoring its global significance.
The aerial displays featuring the Su-57 and F-35 have captivated audiences, providing a rare opportunity to witness the capabilities of these advanced stealth fighters firsthand. The Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued advisories and implemented traffic management measures, recommending alternative routes to the airport to mitigate the impact of the airshow on the city's transportation network.
