CM Yogi Adityanath: "India cannot accept glorification of invaders"

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that glorifying invaders strengthens the foundation of treason and insults India’s great leaders and rich cultural heritage. Addressing the people of Uttar Pradesh, he said, “When the world is praising the eternal culture and tradition of India, then the feeling of reverence and respect towards the great men of India should be the duty of every citizen.”

Yogi Adityanath condemned the invaders who destroyed India’s social fabric, dishonored women, and attacked the country’s faith and traditions. He said, “No aggressor should be glorified. Glorifying the invader means strengthening the principles of treason, and independent India cannot accept any such traitor who insults the great men of India.” He made it clear that modern India is not ready to accept such glorification of those who sought to weaken the nation’s cultural and social foundations.

He further highlighted that India's progress is deeply connected to preserving and honoring its heritage. He stated, The story of development can move forward only when we take our heritage forward with full pride. Our story of pride is linked with heritage, and heritage is linked with development.” Yogi Adityanath added that pride in India's heritage is essential for future growth and development.
