Prashant Kishor Makes a Rare Public Appearance with Wife Jahnavi Das at Tirumala Temple

Political strategist and Jan Suraaj party leader Prashant Kishor and his wife, Jahnavi Das, offered prayers at the Tirumala Temple. While Kishor is often in the public eye, this appearance is noteworthy because he is known for keeping his personal life private.

This visit comes amidst reports of Kishor's growing involvement in advising actor-politician Vijay on election strategies for his party, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK).

Rare Public Appearance With Wife

Prashant Kishor, known for keeping his personal life private, made a rare public appearance with his wife, Jahnavi Das, at the Tirumala Temple. Jahnavi Das hails from Guwahati, Assam, and is a doctor by profession. She met Prashant Kishor during a United Nations (UN) health programme. They married and have a son. Prashant has acknowledged his ability to dedicate time to his political endeavors is thanks to his wife.

Kishor's Role as Advisor to Vijay's TVK

Prashant Kishor has reportedly met with actor Vijay in Chennai, offering strategic support for TVK ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Kishor will serve as a ‘special advisor’ to TVK.

He previously helped MK Stalin’s DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) to a win in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. During a three-hour meeting in Chennai, Kishor discussed strategy and shared insights on the current political landscape in Tamil Nadu and nationally.

Kishor's strategic role will involve providing guidance to internal teams within TVK, including general secretary Aadhav Arjuna and Vijay’s strategist Jhon Arokiasamy. Discussions with TVK functionaries have covered the political scenario and the feasibility of aligning with potential parties.

Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj

Political strategist Kishor is also the leader of the Jan Suraaj party in Bihar. he has announced that Jan Suraaj will contest all 243 seats in the Bihar assembly polls in 2025.
