The franchise wanted to monitor his rehabilitation at close quarters, but with Mayank now a BCCI-contracted player, their request was denied. Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan are still awaiting clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and Mitchell Marsh has confirmed he will only play as a batter due to a back injury.
