Observed every year on June 12, this day aims to eliminate child labour and ensure every child gets education and a safe childhood.
“Progress is clear, but there’s more to do: Let’s speed up efforts!” This theme reflects the need for faster, united global action.
As per UNICEF and ILO, - 138 million children still work globally - 54 million are in hazardous jobs risking their health and development

The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched this observance in 2002 as part of its global mission to end child labour.
