Scorching summers can be tough on stray dogs, cats, cows, and birds. Here’s how you can offer them relief and comfort.
Place clean water bowls in shaded areas. Refill regularly to help thirsty stray dogs, cats, cows, and birds.
Feed strays light, non-spicy food like soaked biscuits, grains, fruits, or leftovers. Avoid salty or oily items.
Use old cloth, cardboard, or temporary shelters to offer shade for street dogs, cats, and cows in open areas.
Feed animals in shaded or grassy spots. Hot cement or tar roads can burn their paws and increase discomfort.
Place shallow trays of water on balconies or rooftops. Birds use them for drinking and cooling down.
If a stray appears dizzy, pants heavily, or collapses, pour cool (not cold) water and contact a local vet or NGO.
Small acts of kindness like water bowls and shade can make a big difference in saving lives this summer. Spread awareness!
