Don’t just say “less screen time.” Give kids a clear daily routine for study, play, and limited gadget use.
Offer alternatives—art, books, sports, puzzles, or music. Kids drop screens faster when they have exciting offline options.
If parents scroll endlessly, kids will too. Limit your own phone use to set the right example.
Weekend hikes, cycling, or evening park visits—nature and playtime naturally beat scrolling feeds.
Declare dining table and bedtime as “No Phone Zones.” Use that time for bonding and stories.
Swap addictive scrolling with educational videos, coding apps, or documentaries that add real value.
No gadgets an hour before bed. Encourage reading, journaling, or calming music for better rest.
Explain the risks of screen addiction. Make reducing screen time feel like a team effort, not a punishment.
