Tristan Stubbs (41*) and Ashutosh Sharma (41) shared a crucial 66-run stand to rescue DC and push the total past 130.
Ashutosh hit two sixes in a single over off Zeeshan Ansari, injecting momentum into a struggling DC innings in the 15th over.
Despite the late fightback, Delhi Capitals could only manage 133/7 in 20 overs, giving SRH a real chance before rain interrupted.
As SRH prepared to chase, relentless rain created puddles on the outfield. Officials finally called off the game at 11:10 PM local time.
With the match abandoned, both teams shared a point. DC moved to 13 points & stayed in playoff contention, while SRH ended at 7 & were officially out.
After a strong 2024 season, SRH's 2025 campaign fizzled out with only 7 points from 11 matches. They now play for pride.
