After a brief suspension due to Indo-Pak cross-border tensions, IPL 2025 will resume on May 17 with the remaining league and playoff matches.
No team has qualified yet but Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru lead the table with 16 points each and are one win away.
Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals remain in the hunt while CSK, RR, and SRH have been eliminated from the playoff race.
The abandoned May 8 match will be replayed on May 24 in Jaipur. PBKS’s previous score of 122/1 in 10.1 overs will not carry forward.
The league will resume with 13 matches including two double-headers on May 18 and May 25 before the playoffs begin.
Qualifier 1 will be held on May 29 followed by the Eliminator on May 30, Qualifier 2 on June 1 and the final on June 3.
All remaining matches will be played in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad with no games in Chennai, Hyderabad or Kolkata.
Afternoon matches will begin at 3:30 PM IST while evening games will start at 7:30 PM IST as per the original schedule.
With tight competition and playoff spots up for grabs, the final leg of IPL 2025 promises high-intensity cricket and dramatic finishes.
