The series explores the essence of being a celebrity - the journey to stardom, living under the constant lens of the paparazzi, women in Bollywood, and the impact on the consumers of celebrity content.
Rasika Dugal talks about the women who inspire her
Rasika Dugal looked stunning at the mega-event in a golden Dilana kurta set from the label AMPM, priced at ₹39,950. She accessorised her look with a gold round necklace and statement earrings, completing it with a matching Reeza wristlet bag worth ₹24,950.
When asked about a woman she finds truly inspiring, Rasika had an immediate answer—filmmaker Mira Nair. She shared, “I worked with her, and she is the most fun, mischievous, inspiring, and soulful person I know. She’s also someone who is unafraid to say, ‘I don’t know,’ which is rare and refreshing,".
Challenging stereotypes in female representation
During the course of the interview, Rasika also spoke about the ridiculous stereotypes women in cinema have to deal with, on a daily basis. "It seems that all women are expected to carry an immense amount of compassion. I don’t see why that should be the case. Every human being has moments where they are compassionate and sensitive,” she said.
Rasika’s favourite show is based on a con woman
When asked what Rasika has been hooked to lately, the actress shared a recent watch that left a lasting impression. The ‘Mirzapur’ actor said, “I watched a show called ‘Apple Cider Vinegar’ with a very lovely female performances and it’s based on a true story about a woman who cons the world.”
