Voter fraud and complicity, Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, yet again trained guns at the Election Commission's role in ‘vote chori’ in his ongoing campaign against the BJP.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Gandhi claimed widespread electoral fraud in Haryana.
He alleged that at least 25 lakh votes were manipulated in Haryana, which has 2 crore voters. He added there might be more fake voters in the list.
Citing a case of duplication, the Congress leader claimed that a Brazilian model was registered as a voter 22 times under different names, like ‘Sweety, Seema, Saraswati.'

He further alleged that the Congress would have swept the Haryana 2024 assembly elections had it not been for the Election Commission.
Gandhi said that the EC was working at the behest of the BJP.

He also rubbished the poll body’s previous claims of using House number ‘0’ for homeless people.
Remember, the Election Commission had earlier said that homeless people in the voter list have their addresses registered as house number '0'—which Gandhi had flagged as fraud.
The Congress leader said that his party has debunked the poll body’s claims.
He said that during an investigation, his party found that one of the listed homeless voters, named Narendra, had a registered house in one of the villages in Haryana.
Gandhi also pointed out many inconsistencies in the EC’s Haryana voter list.
Alleging another example of fraud, Gandhi cited a claim of BJP vice-chairman of Palwal district, Umesh Gudhrana, who had shown 66 people living in his house.
He further claimed that EC had listed 500 voters from a single house in Hodal. But Gandhi said that these voters did not exist when the team cross-checked it.
The Congress leader alleged that the BJP and EC are repeating the same voter fraud in Bihar.
He brought one of the Bihar voters to the press conference to back his claim. With the Bihar polls due tomorrow, will Rahul’s ‘expose’ make any impact in the state?
