According to X user Dhruv, who shared viral videos of the incident, the fight allegedly started over a dispute about the DJ’s music selection. Dhruv claimed that a group of four to five men, accompanied by women, approached the DJ and requested him to change the music. When the DJ’s girlfriend allegedly objected, one of the men allegedly pushed her, leading to a verbal altercation that quickly turned physical. Groups Throw Bottles At Each-OtherThe situation escalated when one of the guests allegedly slapped the DJ, prompting the DJ to retaliate by allegedly throwing bottles and glasses at the group. One person was reportedly injured when a glass shattered on his head. Chaotic Scenes Inside South Delhi Club Videos shared by Dhruv on his X (formerly Twitter) account show chaotic scenes inside the club, with patrons ducking for cover and staff struggling to control the situation. Some servers were seen removing glassware and cutlery from tables to prevent further damage.Delhi Police Called After the Incidence. Dhruv alleged that the fight only ended after one of the groups involved left the venue. Police were reportedly called to the scene after the incident, but no official statements have been released regarding any arrests or injuries. Dhruv claimed that the conflict was allegedly primarily fueled by tensions over the DJ’s music choices and remarks made by his girlfriend.
Delhi: Club Brawls In The Past
Delhi has witnessed similar incidents in the past also. In August 2024, A man was hospitalised after he was shot at by bouncers of a club outside Star City Mall in East Delhi. According to reports, a fight had allegedly broken out when a woman rejected the gestures to dance with a group of men. This resulted in an argument between the bouncers of the club and the group of men. While the men were trying to leave the club, one of them was injured.
