Once celebrated for her grace and poise on screen, Gayatri Joshi, now Gayatri Oberoi, is back in the limelight, not for a film role, but for her massive Mumbai home. The former beauty queen and actress is making headlines thanks to a jaw-dropping luxury apartment in Mumbai valued at a staggering ₹400 crore.

Featured in a video by luxury real estate YouTuber Enes Yilmazer, the home is nestled in the heart of South Mumbai’s upscale Worli neighbourhood, inside the premium skyscraper development, Three Sixty West.

All about Gayatri Oberoi’s massive Mumbai home

Married to Vikas Oberoi, Gayatri lives ‘life king size’. Her Worli residence spans an expansive 16,000 square feet of pure elegance. It includes five lavish bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a grand private lobby that opens directly from the elevator, designed to offer utmost privacy and exclusivity.

In the video, Gayatri takes viewers through the apartment and shares her design philosophy. She emphasises the importance of texture and flow, pointing out how the design incorporates Indian resources while maintaining a sleek, international, largely European, inspired aesthetic.

She and her husband, Vikas Oberoi, are deeply involved in the creative process, and Gayatri adds that they enjoy the work so much, they don’t even consider it work, just passion.

Her husband, Vikas Oberoi, is the managing director of Oberoi Realty, one of India’s leading real estate firms. The couple’s shared interest in design, architecture, and luxurious living is evident in every inch of the apartment, which was reportedly on the market for $50 million (approx. ₹400 crore).

From a Nagpur girl to owning property worth crores: Tracing Gayatri’s journey

Gayatri’s journey to this rarefied world began in Nagpur, where she was born. She entered the limelight when she won the prestigious Femina Miss India International title in 2000 and represented India at the Miss International pageant the same year.

Following a successful modelling and VJ career, she transitioned to Bollywood and made her acting debut in Ashutosh Gowariker’s critically acclaimed ‘Swades’ (2004) opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

However, after her debut, she stepped away from the movie industry and chose a more private life after marrying Vikas Oberoi. Since then, she’s largely stayed out of the public eye until now.

With this renewed attention, fans can’t help but ask: could Gayatri Joshi make a return to the silver screen? For now, she seems content in her luxurious bubble, but Bollywood has a way of calling people back. Never say never.
