India's​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ AI scene is set to be radically upgraded. Fractal Analytics' IPO documents have got the green signal from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The company is the first AI-focused company in India whose shares will be available for public trading.

A 25-Year AI Powerhouse

The twenty-five-year-old company based in Mumbai has been very Fractal in India with AI & data science continues to intrigue this power house in the last 25 years built an empire of AI & data analytics and kept it under wraps. The overall shares to be issued include a fresh equity of ₹1,279 crore and an offer for sale of ₹3,621 crore. The company will use the money from the new issue to pay off the debt of its US subsidiary, open new offices in India, and fund accelerated R&D with a specific focus on generative AI.

Founders' Confidence Speaks Volumes

Among the co-founders Srikanth Velamakanni and Pranay Agrawal along with their families, approximate 20% of the stake is in their holdings and they are not selling any shares.
