CCTV cameras have recorded Italy's Mount Etna erupting. The eruption caused tourists to flee and has led to the disruption of flights in and out of the region.

Mount Etna, the world's most active stratovolcano has been simmering for the past few weeks but an eruption of this magnitude has reportedly not occurred since 2014.
