Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is all set to tie the knot with his girlfriend Lauren Sánchez. And if reports are believed to be true, the founder is spending a whooping US$34 million that’s somewhat a staggering ₹291 crore on the wedding! The fairytale affair, set in the romantic backdrop of Venice, is shaping up to be one of the most expensive weddings in modern history. According to a USA Today report, the budget is nearly 1,000 times higher than what an average American couple typically spends on their big day.

But Bezos and Sánchez have taken it a step further, booking five of the city’s most exclusive hotels to host their select guest list of around 250 high-profile attendees.
