A Lamborghini Huracan hit two pedestrians on a footpath near an under-construction building in Sector 94, Noida, on Sunday, police said. The incident occurred while Deepak Kumar, a car dealer from Ajmer, Rajasthan was driving the car. Police responded at the scene and took action.

Labourers injured and hospitalized

The two people injured in the accident were labourers from Chhattisgarh. They were working near the site when the car struck them. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital. Doctors confirmed they suffered leg fractures. Police said the labourers were out of danger and receiving treatment.

Car owner and driver details

The car is registered in Puducherry. It belongs to YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, who has 18 million subscribers. “The owner, Mridul Tiwari, a resident of Noida and a YouTuber with over 18 million subscribers, was selling the car and Deepak had come to check its condition,” the ADCP said.

Police arrested Deepak Kumar immediately after the crash. The Lamborghini was seized for investigation. Authorities are examining its condition and registration details.

Video evidence surfaces

A video of the incident spread online. It showed Deepak stepping out of the car after the crash. He asked, “Koi mar gaya idhar? (Did anyone die here?)” A bystander questioned him about the number of deaths. Another voice in the video said, “Police ko bulao (Call the police).” The clip led to public attention on the case.

Police statement and investigation

Bhupendra Singh, In-charge at Sector 126 Police Station, spoke to PTI. He said, “Two laborers from Chhattisgarh were injured. They have leg fractures and are out of danger. The driver is Deepak from Ajmer. The car is seized.” Deepak told police a vehicle fault caused the accident. One victim claimed the car was moving at 300 km/h. Police have not verified this speed. Singh added that an investigation is underway. Authorities are looking into the cause of the crash. They are collecting statements from witnesses and reviewing evidence. The case remains under active probe.
