According to the report, the league's stand-alone brand value has shot up by 13.8%, now sitting pretty at USD 3.9 billion. Big billion vibes!
And guess what? The BCCI's sponsor game is as strong as Bumrah’s yorkers — the sale of just four associate sponsor slots (My11Circle, Angel One, RuPay, and CEAT) raked in a whopping ₹1,485 crores, marking a 25% jump from last time. That’s not branding — that’s band baaja business!
Oh, and the Tata Group has extended its title sponsorship till 2028, signing a blockbuster USD 300 million (₹2,500 crore) deal. That’s five more years of “TATA IPL”

Now to the juicy part — when it comes to franchises, the 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru have taken the top spot with a brand value of USD 269 million - an increase from USD 227 million last year.
Yup, Kohli and company have even left MI behind, as Mumbai Indians settled for second place with USD 242 million, while CSK dropped to third, with a brand value of USD 235 million.
The report also mentioned that Punjab Kings recorded the highest year-on-year growth, with an explosive 39.6% jump in brand value.
Now here’s an interesting stat: the IPL 2025 final literally broke the internet, racking up over 678 million (67.8 crore) views on Jio Hotstar — even more than the India vs Pakistan blockbuster in the Champions Trophy!
“The IPL continues to set benchmarks in sports business. Franchise valuations have soared, media rights deals have reached record highs, and brand partnerships have diversified across sectors,” commented Harsh Talikoti, Director, Financial and Valuation Advisory at Houlihan Lokey.
