YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, has taken his first international trip after the return of his passport by police authorities. The Supreme Court on Monday directed the return of his passport after being informed by the Assam and Maharashtra governments that investigations against him in the India’s Got Latent case had been completed.

Ranveer had surrendered his passport earlier this year following the Supreme Court’s February 18 order that protected him from arrest while directing him to cooperate with the ongoing investigation. He first applied for the return of his passport in March, stating that international travel was essential to continue his podcast interviews, which constitute his primary source of income

On Monday, the Solicitor General told the court that both state governments had completed their investigation and that Ranveer should continue cooperating until the charge sheet is filed.Following the court’s decision, Ranveer shared a photo from the airport on social media with the caption “Passport mil gaya guys.” He also posted a screenshot of the court order and a photo of himself travelling in business class.Ranveer, who has 10.4 million subscribers on YouTube, had been facing multiple FIRs under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges related to outraging the modesty of women, promoting hatred, and public indecency.

These complaints stemmed from an episode of the YouTube show India’s Got Latent, published on February 9 and taken down on February 11 following a complaint. During the episode, Allahbadia made a controversial remark that drew criticism from politicians and social media users. He later issued a written apology to the National Commission for Women and shared a video expressing regret over his comment.
