Gravitophobia, the fear of weighing yourself, is fairly common. Trying to overcome the fear of scales and weighing oneself is bad enough in the confines of one's home, imagine having to do it in public!

Well, Turkish health authorities are now lugging weighing scales around busy marketplaces, weighing people. Why? It's part of a campaign to lower the number of obese and overweight adults.

Unusual measure, yes. Offensive? You decide!
