The IPL might be over, but the cricket drama? Still piping hot. And the centre of attention? RCB, Virat Kohli, Chahal and Gautam Gambhir.

The IPL might be over, but the drama? Still piping hot — hotter than a summer evening match in Chennai. And the centre of attention? RCB. But sadly, for all the wrong reasons.

RCB Revenue Chief Arrested

If you’ve ever glanced into the RCB dugout, you might’ve seen him — Nikhil Sosale, RCB’s Head of Marketing and Revenue. But this time, instead of sitting in a VIP box, he’s behind bars. Sosale, along with three other RCB officials, was arrested in connection with the tragic Bengaluru stampede that claimed 11 lives. The charges? Culpable homicide not amounting to murder — a very serious offence.

Virat and Anushka Fly Off to London

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma flew to London just a day after the incident. While the trip was reportedly planned in advance, some fans weren’t pleased. They pointed out that the people who lost their lives were RCB and Virat fans — and that his sudden departure felt insensitive given the timing. Emotions are running high, and the optics didn’t help.

Yuzi: The Fractured Warrior

Turns out, Yuzvendra Chahal was battling more than just opposition batters this season. According to RJ Mahvash, rumoured to be dating Yuzi, the leg-spinner played most of the IPL while nursing multiple injuries. In an emotional post, she revealed:
“What people don't know is that his ribs got fractured after a few matches, and later, his bowling finger too. This guy played the entire season with three fractures.”

Coach Gambhir Under Pressure

Switching over to Team India, head coach Gautam Gambhir is already feeling the heat. With a young squad gearing up for the England tour and expectations sky-high, Gambhir admitted he’s under pressure — not just from past Test series losses, but even after his Champions Trophy success. As he put it:
“I’m still under pressure. As coach, you always want results.”

The upcoming England series? It could be a disaster or a masterstroke. Either way, it’s going to be a wild ride.
