Realme Buds T200 deliver LDAC audio, 50-hour battery life, and Spatial Audio—all under ₹2,000. Are these the best budget TWS earbuds right now?

You don’t expect budget earbuds to offer LDAC, Spatial Audio, and 50-hour battery life. But here we are.

Realme’s latest release, the Buds T200, is looking to shake up the sub-₹3,000 segment with a spec sheet that feels like it accidentally wandered in from a more premium price bracket. These earbuds are loud—in sound and ambition—and while they don’t check every single box, what they do offer is kind of ridiculous for the price.

Let’s break it down.

Let’s start with what matters most: audio performance. The Buds T200 pack 12.4mm Dynamic Bass Drivers, and they deliver. The soundstage feels open and clean, vocals have clarity, and there’s a noticeable thump to the bass that doesn’t drown out the mids. For this price point, it’s impressive how balanced the tuning feels — these aren’t just bass bombs masquerading as budget picks.

Realme T200 First Look: Hi-Res support and spatial tricks

The support for Hi-Res LDAC audio is also quite surprising. You’d typically expect that in more expensive options, not here. Of course, you’ll need a compatible device to unlock its full potential, but it’s a rare find in this range and a big win for audio enthusiasts on a budget.

Then there’s Spatial Audio and Dynamic Bass Boost. Yes, some of it sounds like marketing fluff, but there’s genuine utility here. Spatial audio expands the perceived width of your music and makes media playback — especially movies and podcasts — feel more immersive. It’s not quite Dolby-level magic, but it’s not a gimmick either.

Realme T200 First Look: Packed with useful extras

Beyond sound, the Buds T200 come loaded with practical features. You get dual-device connectivity — ideal for switching between your phone and laptop — plus a camera shutter shortcut and quad-mic AI noise cancellation. Call quality is decent for the price, with background noise suppression working reasonably well in busy environments.

Realme T200 First Look: Battery that goes the distance

Battery life is another area where Realme delivers. With the case, you’re looking at up to 50 hours of total playback. That’s backed by real-world performance too — our early testing yielded close to 45 hours at moderate volume. And if you’re in a rush, a 10-minute charge gives you nearly 5 hours of juice. That’s excellent for daily commuters or gym-goers.

Realme T200 First Look: Some compromises remain

The design is functional but uninspired. The Verde Green color variant won’t be to everyone’s taste, and there’s a slightly plasticky feel to the case. Also missing are a few quality-of-life features like auto-play/pause, which would’ve made them feel more premium.

Active Noise Cancellation maxes out at 32dB. It’s serviceable, enough to dull the hum of a fan or traffic, but don’t expect flagship-grade silence. At this price, it's hard to complain — but it’s something to note if ANC is a priority.

Verdict: Realme nails the essentials

All said and done, the Realme Buds T200 deliver one of the most well-rounded experiences in the sub-₹2K bracket. From strong sound to smart features and great battery life, these buds make a compelling case for anyone shopping on a budget.

So, did Realme just raise the bar for entry-level TWS? It sure looks like it.
