The Infinix GT 30 has been designed from the ground up with gamers in mind.
1/3

The Infinix GT 30 has been designed from the ground up with gamers in mind.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro isn’t shy about what it wants to be. With built-in shoulder triggers, LED lighting, and a name that screams arcade machine, it’s a gaming-first phone priced like a mid-ranger. At ₹24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and ₹26,999 for 12GB + 256GB, it’s available on Flipkart and aims to win over mobile gamers looking for a hardware edge.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Design & Build

Continuing its bold aesthetic, the GT 30 Pro uses what Infinix calls the "Cyber Mecha Design." The Blade White variant we tested gives off just enough gamer flair without being over the top. You get a sci-fi feel with red accents, sharp lines, and a glowing back panel—though it’s more subtle in white. The black variant goes all out with full RGB.

It’s a flat 6.78-inch display on the front, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Bezels are slim, and the plastic back doesn’t feel cheap. Weighing in at 191g, the phone has a dense, solid hand-feel. IP64 water and dust resistance is adequate, but some rivals are now pushing higher.

Shoulder Triggers That Actually Work
The standout feature is easily the touch-sensitive shoulder triggers built into the frame. These are configurable for games and system shortcuts. In shooters like BGMI and COD Mobile, you can map aim and fire to the triggers, freeing up your thumbs for movement and giving you a legit reaction-time advantage.

They’re flush with the side, so it takes a little getting used to, but Infinix includes a TPU case that makes them easier to locate. In use, they genuinely make a difference—especially for players who aren't at esports level but still want an edge.

Optional Gaming Kit

For ₹1,199 more, you can buy the GT Pro Gaming Kit. It includes a MAGCASE with RGB cutouts and a peltier-based MAGCHARGE COOLER that magnetically snaps to the back. It keeps temperatures in check and, of course, lights up too.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Display & Audio

The AMOLED panel supports up to 144Hz refresh, though in reality, it rarely hits that outside specific apps. In daily use, expect 60Hz to 120Hz operation. Still, it’s sharp (1224 x 2720), flat, and bright—rated at 4500 nits peak. Stereo speakers round out the media experience, delivering surprisingly punchy audio.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Performance & Thermal Management

Under the hood is the 4nm Dimensity 8350 Ultimate with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. We tested the 12GB + 256GB model, and it pulled a strong 1.29 million score on AnTuTu. In 3DMark’s Wild Life Extreme Stress Test, stability was about 63%—decent for this segment.

Gaming performance was solid: BGMI ran at 116.5fps average, dipping to 106fps at worst. COD Mobile hovered around 59.8fps. Thermals were well-managed thanks to a 6-layer vapor chamber setup, with max temps staying below 43°C, even during extended sessions.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Battery & Charging

The 5,500mAh battery delivers comfortably. Expect 6–7 hours of screen time on light days and full-day endurance even with 2+ hours of gaming. It supports 45W wired charging (charger included), reaching 50% in 30 minutes and a full charge in just over an hour.

Where it really stands out is wireless charging. You get 30W wireless support and reverse wireless charging too—features you rarely see in this price band.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Camera System

There’s a 108MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. Daylight photos from the main sensor are high in contrast and color saturation, perfect for social media. Night Mode is usable but not class-leading. Portraits are surprisingly solid, with decent edge detection.

The ultra-wide is serviceable at best—detail drops quickly and it doesn’t handle low light well. 4K video with EIS is fine for casual use but shows limitations with motion and poor lighting.

On the front, the 13MP selfie camera holds up well in good light, offering natural skin tones and solid detail. Fixed focus is a minor downside, but depth of field is forgiving.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Software & AI Features

Running Android 15 with XOS, the GT 30 Pro offers a clean, responsive interface with minimal bloat. You get two Android updates and three years of security patches—not bad at this price.

AI tools are extensive: text extraction, document summaries, wallpaper generation, and translation are baked in. Circle to Search is available, and the Folax assistant (built on DeepSeek R1) works well. XBOOST AI and Esports Mode optimize performance during gameplay by allocating resources and reducing distractions.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Verdict

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is a phone that knows exactly who it’s for. It doesn’t pretend to be a camera champ or an all-rounder—it’s built for mobile gamers who want fast response times, hardware extras like shoulder triggers, and the kind of polish you don’t usually see at this price.

You can now ask the obvious question—why pick this over performance-first rivals like the iQOO Neo 10R or the POCO X7 Pro (which, let’s not forget, is cheaper)? The answer is simple: none of them offer shoulder triggers. And once you start using them, you’ll realize they’re not just a gimmick.

For many players—especially those who want to play longer without constantly being outgunned—that alone will be reason enough to choose the GT 30 Pro. It’s a phone that delivers where it counts, and in a sea of lookalike devices, it brings something genuinely different to the table.
