Apple might go full sci-fi in 2027 with a bezel-free, all-glass iPhone, its first foldable phone, smart AR glasses, a supercharged Siri, and maybe even an AI-powered home robot. The future of Apple looks wild — and we’re so here for it.

2027 could shape up to be a landmark year for Apple, and not just because it’ll mark the iPhone’s 20th birthday.

If the latest leaks are to be believed, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning a massive design refresh that could change the iPhone as we know it. We're talking about an all-glass, bezel-free design with no visible camera cutouts; basically, the cleanest, most futuristic iPhone ever.

A seamless, all-glass iPhone with no cutouts

The headlining change to the lineup change would be an all-glass iPhone. Apple is reportedly working on putting the selfie camera under the display.

That means no notch, no Dynamic Island, and no visible punch-holes, just pure, uninterrupted glass from edge to edge. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman backs this, claiming Apple’s goal is a “mostly glass, curved” iPhone that feels like one continuous slab. Think wraparound glass vibes, a concept that’s lived in patents for years but may finally hit shelves in 2027.

Foldables, smart glasses, and a smarter Siri?

But it’s not just the iPhone getting a glow-up. Apple is also expected to pull back the curtain on its first foldable iPhone, if for some reason it is not able to launch it in 2026. Long rumoured and much-awaited, the foldable could debut in 2027 as Apple’s answer to Samsung’s Z series.

That same year, we might also see the launch of Apple’s AR smart glasses — aimed squarely at Meta’s Ray-Ban collab — pushing the brand deeper into the wearables and spatial computing space.

Siri could also get a major AI-powered brain boost in 2027, thanks to Apple’s in-house large language models. Word is, the same team behind Apple Silicon is developing custom AI chips to handle this upgrade, bringing smarter, more contextual responses to your devices.

Home robots might join the Apple lineup

As if that wasn’t enough, Apple is rumoured to be tinkering with something way out of left field — a home robot. This AI-powered assistant is said to offer personality-driven interactions and could build on experimental robotics Apple has explored behind the scenes. If true, this would be one of the boldest moves in Apple’s product playbook.

Nothing’s official yet, but if even half of this drops in 2027, it’ll be a blockbuster year for Apple. The future's looking sleek, foldable, and full of AI.
