The Oppo Find X9 Pro doesn’t scream innovation. It doesn’t toss wild gimmicks in your face. What it does offer — quietly, confidently — is balance. Every design element, every feature, every grip feels like a step toward maturity.
You unbox the Find X9 Pro and what you get is a refined take on what a flagship should be. Let’s unpack why this might just be Oppo’s most well-rounded phone yet.
The moment the Find X9 Pro box lands in your hand, it’s a tall, classy black box, and honestly, we’re glad Oppo hasn’t messed with what already works. Inside, you get the essentials done right: the phone itself, a good-quality back cover, a Type-A to Type-C cable, an 80W SUPERVOOC charger, a SIM ejector tool, and the usual quick guide you’ll probably never read.
Pick up the Find X9 Pro and the first thing you’ll notice is how… understated it is. Not boring. Just confident. The subtle curves on the glass back, the smooth transitions into the aluminium frame, and the overall symmetry — it all feels intentional.
Despite housing a massive 7,500mAh battery, the phone feels neither bulky nor top-heavy. It’s just 8.25mm thick, but it sits surprisingly well in hand, owing to excellent weight distribution.
Now, here’s something that might divide opinions. The camera bump it's big, bold, and unmissable. Gone is the circular design from the X8 Pro. In comes a more squared “squircle” layout, which does feel a bit inspired by recent OnePlus devices (no surprises there). Still, it sits flat on the table. No awkward wobbles. And yes, the Hasselblad branding is still there, unlike OnePlus, which has moved on.
But the best part? That physical Quick Button. It works as a dedicated camera shutter, lets you zoom, and feels weirdly satisfying to use. On the left side, there’s Oppo’s new Plus key, which you can customise to open apps or shortcuts.
Durability-wise, the Find X9 Pro isn’t here to play. With IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, this thing can take on dust, water, and even high-pressure jets. It’s the kind of phone that grows on you, one that doesn’t show off, but earns respect.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display. With ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels and a 1.5K resolution at 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Peak brightness can go up to 3600 nits. Colours look punchy with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It’s bright, it’s vibrant, and you’ll enjoy it whether you’re gaming or binge-watching.
Oppo’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is crazy fast and works even when your fingers are wet. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 — so I would say the glass is tough.
Oppo is damm serious this time. You get a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and the headline grabber, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
The 200MP lens offers 3x optical zoom, and you can shoot at 6x without image loss. Yes, it goes all the way to 120x digital zoom — but don’t bother. The sweet spot lives comfortably between 3x and 6x.
The Sony LYT-828 sensor on the main camera handles dynamic lighting like a pro, while the ultrawide keeps distortion in check. The telephoto lens doubles as a macro — which sounds gimmicky until you actually try it. The results? Surprisingly sharp.
Hasselblad’s XPan mode makes a return, offering cinematic photos with vintage filters that don’t feel overcooked.
The video performance on this is also very solid, you can shoot videos at 4K/120fps and 4K/60fps with ultra-steady mode.
The 50MP front cam works great, and the selfies came out sharp and detailed.
Let’s talk battery. The 7,500mAh silicon-carbon cell runs all day without breaking a sweat. Throw anything at it — camera, video, mobile games, dozens of tabs — and you’ll still end the day with juice to spare.
Fast charging is on point too: 80W SUPERVOOC wired, and 50W AIRVOOC wireless. You won’t be sitting next to a plug for long.
The Find X9 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Performance-wise wise the multitasking is seamless, apps open quickly and the phone stays surprisingly cool thanks to a new vapour chamber that’s 33.7% larger than before.
On AnTuTu, it crosses 3.46 million — placing it in elite Android flagship territory. ColorOS 16 has matured a lot too — clean, animated transitions, and subtle AI touches that speed things up without getting in your way.
The Oppo Find X9 Pro doesn’t try to be quirky. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel. It’s simply sharpening every spoke until it cuts through the noise.
If you’ve been looking for a premium flagship that doesn’t over complicate things, while still delivering on the things that actually matter, the Oppo Find X9 Pro is worth your attention.
It’s premium without being loud. Powerful without being flashy. And creative without going overboard.
If you’re done chasing phones that try too hard, the Find X9 Pro is a refreshing pause — a flagship that actually feels finished.
