Skullcandy is levelling up. Known for some pretty done earbuds that don’t sound like tin cans, the brand is now stepping into slightly pricier territory — but with a little help from Bose. Enter the Method 360 ANC, Skullcandy’s most advanced earbuds yet, priced at a “special” $99.99 (or about ₹8570) which will later bump up to $129.99 (about ₹11,130).
The headline grabber? Skullcandy’s teamed up with Bose for the audio tuning and tech. So while you’re not getting full-on QuietComfort Ultra-level ANC here, you are getting a seriously refined sound experience without torching your bank account.
Comfort, clips and colourful chaos
Let’s talk fit. These buds come with three sizes of ear gels and fit fins — so they won’t randomly pop out of your ears while working out of jogging. They’re built for stability as well as passive noise isolation, which helps boost that hybrid ANC system. Speaking of ANC, it’s not just basic blocking — there’s a Stay-Aware mode that lets you dial back in when you need to hear your surroundings (or your name being screamed across the room).
Battery life is also no joke. The earbuds themselves give you up to 11 hours on a single charge (nine with ANC). But chuck them into the chunky-but-practical sliding case, and that jumps to 40 hours total (or 32 with ANC). Oh, and the case has an O-ring clip like a carabiner — not the most pocketable design, but handy if you’re on the move.
Looks good, sounds smarter
You’ve got five colourways to pick from: black, bone, primer, plasma, and yep — leopard print.
Inside, there’s a four-mic hybrid ANC system, low-latency mode for gamers and binge-watchers, plus wear detection that pauses your music when you pull them out. There’s also multipoint pairing, which means no more awkward re-pairing every time you switch from laptop to phone.
Add in IPX4 water resistance, Spotify Tap, Google Fast Pair, and customisable shortcut buttons and EQ settings via the Skull-iQ app — and you’ve got a pair of earbuds that punch way above their price, at least on paper
They’re not Bose-level premium, but with all this baked in, the Method 360 ANC might just be Skullcandy’s glow-up moment.
