The Vivo T4 Pro comes with a sleek design, strong camera setup, and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, making it a top pick for India’s midrange crowd in 2025.

Vivo’s back with the T4 Pro, and this one’s all about balance. On the spectrum that is the T4 series, on one end , you’ve got the Vivo T4 Ultra flexing on performance, and on the other, the T4x killing it for budget buyers.

Now the T4 Pro steps in as the all-rounder—good specs, impressive cameras, and a price around ₹30,000.

But honestly, it’s the design that instantly grabs you. That clean, understated look just hits different and really sets this phone apart.

Vivo T4 Pro First Look: Design

The T4 Pro comes in two colours. There’s a Gold version, but we’ve been checking out the Nitro Blue colourway, and from the looks of it atleast, Honestly, this shade just works.

It’s clean, subtle, and manages to look premium without trying too hard or being in your face. Vivo’s gone for a plastic composite back with matching plastic sides, but the way they’ve shaped it, with soft curves and those nicely rounded corners, instantly makes it feel really good in your hand.

At under 200 grams, it’s light enough to use all day, but there’s still this sturdy, solid feel to it. No cheap plasticky vibes here.

It’s pretty slim, which is impressive given the size of the battery inside. But if I have to nitpick, the Nitro Blue finish is a total fingerprint magnet. Every smudge shows up instantly. If you’re fussy about that sort of thing, maybe the Gold will be less of a pain.

Still, I do appreciate Vivo’s decision to keep a consistent design style across their midrange and premium-lite phones like the Vivo V60 and X200 FE. It’s a look that really works, and gives their phones a more grown-up, refined vibe.

Flip to the back and you get a slick glossy black camera module, neatly hiding the main and telephoto shooters.

No Aura Light here, but you do get a handy ring flash for extra fill light. On the front, the punch-hole camera sits in a quad-curved display with super slim bezels, so it genuinely feels more high-end than most phones in this segment.

All these details make the T4 Pro seriously stand out.

Vivo T4 Pro First Look: Performance

Powering the T4 Pro is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, and Vivo’s bragging about hitting over a million on Antutu. Whether those numbers actually hold up is something we’ll have to see for ourselves when it goes through our usual battery of performance tests.

Vivo T4 Pro First Look: Cameras

Sliding over to cameras, Vivo’s not messing around here.

You get a 50MP main and a 50MP 3X telephoto, which is pretty rare at this price. Plus, that little extra lens outside the camera module is just for bokeh.

When it comes to photos, the main camera pulls off punchy, vibrant shots with sharp details and decent dynamic range, even when you zoom in.

Low light is handled surprisingly well for the segment, as long as you keep expectations real.

You don’t get an ultrawide lens here, which is a bit of a bummer. The main lens is fairly wide, though—it handles most scenes, but just misses that extra flexibility you get with an ultrawide.

Zoomed shots at 3x and 10x look crisp, and even 20x is surprisingly usable. Push it to 100x and, while you probably won’t share those on Insta, the results are still okay for such a big digital crop.

You also don’t get any Zeiss magic here (that’s reserved for Vivo’s more premium models), but portrait shots seriously impress—creamy bokeh, sharp outlines, and those film-style colour filters really amp up the drama.

For video, you get up to 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps. Stabilisation is decent, though it crops in a bit to keep things steady. Up front, the selfie camera is another win: it nails skin tones, keeps plenty of detail, and portrait mode gets edge detection spot-on. Honestly, for this price bracket, the T4 Pro’s camera setup is easily one of the most well-rounded and fun to use in the segment.

Vivo T4 Pro First Look: Initial thoughts

Vivo’s T4 Pro is shaping up as a standout pick for anyone going after great design and a camera setup that punches above its class.

It covers the essentials and then some, making it one of the more exciting all-rounders coming to the midrange. This is one launch that’s definitely worth your attention.
