The Vivo X200 FE is real — and it could be the compact flagship India’s been waiting for.

Looks like Vivo’s not done with its X200 series just yet. While the spotlight’s been on the X200 and X200 Pro, a brand-new model is now breaking cover—say hello to the Vivo X200 FE. Initially rumoured to launch as the “Pro FE,” the latest reports confirm that it’ll be branded simply as the X200 FE. And it’s shaping up to be a compact powerhouse aimed squarely at the premium segment.

Expected to launch in July with a premium price tag

According to a new SmartPrix leak, the Vivo X200 FE will land in India sometime in July. It’s expected to come in two variants: a 12GB RAM + 256GB model and a top-tier 16GB + 512GB version. The pricing? Likely between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000, which puts it in the same ballpark as the OnePlus 12R and the base Galaxy S24. While Vivo hasn’t officially confirmed the launch yet, this timeline seems to line up with the brand’s usual release cycle.

Compact size, big specs

Despite its “FE” label, this phone isn’t cutting corners. It’s expected to pack a 6.31-inch flat LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is tipped to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+—or possibly the yet-to-launch Dimensity 9400e chipset for the FE version. Either way, expect flagship-grade performance.

Camera buffs can expect a serious setup too: a 50MP Sony IMX921 main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens using the Sony IMX882 sensor. There’s also a 50MP front camera for selfies. Add to that an IP68/IP69 rating, WiFi 6, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and AI-powered camera tools—and it’s looking like a very complete package.

Packs a massive battery

If you’re worried about battery life on a compact phone, Vivo’s got you covered. The X200 FE could ship with a beefy 6,500mAh battery and 90W fast charging. That’s seriously impressive, especially in this form factor. Vivo’s also promising three years of OS updates and four years of security patches, which puts it right up there with the best in the Android world.

All signs point to the X200 FE being a flagship in disguise—one that finally gives compact phone lovers something to get excited about.
