Vivo’s new X300 series packs flagship power, stunning AMOLED screens, and 200MP cameras — available globally now, the Indian launch is expected by December 2025.

Vivo’s new flagship lineup has officially gone global, as the brand has launched the device internationally. The Vivo X300 Pro and X300 are now rolling out globally, armed with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 chip built on the 3 nm process, some gorgeous-looking AMOLED displays, and upgraded camera systems that scream flagship.

Vivo also ships them with its refreshed OriginOS 6 software, bringing smarter customisation and smoother animations.

Now, for some reason, Vivo still hasn’t released the X300 series in India yet. However, if some leaks and sources are to be believed, we might be looking at a December launch.

Premium design with a top-tier display

Both phones look every bit like 2025 flagships. You see flat displays, sharp edges, and bezels that are barely there. The Vivo X300 Pro rocks a massive 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and a wide coverage. It’s bright, fluid, and stretches across 95 percent of the front for that full-screen vibe.

The smaller X300 keeps the same specs in a more compact 6.31-inch AMOLED form, perfect for those who don’t love oversized phones.

Both phones also feature stereo speakers, a snappy x-axis linear motor for haptics, and a customisable Action Button for quick shortcuts. You also get IP68 water and dust resistance, so daily splashes aren’t a worry.

Vivo hasn’t forgotten about the feel in hand either. The Pro weighs 226 g and measures 7.99 mm, while the regular X300 trims that down to 190 g and 7.95 mm with a glass finish that feels just as premium as it looks.

Dimensity 9500 flex and fresh OriginOS 6

Both models are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, paired with a Mali G1-Ultra GPU, promising flagship-level performance and better thermal control thanks to the 3 nm node. The phones run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6, Vivo’s slickest interface yet with upgraded widgets, animation fluidity, and deeper personalisation.

The X300 Pro also features Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, a dedicated processor that boosts low-light photography and optimises video recording. With LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, both phones deliver fast multitasking and snappy app launches.

Powering the X300 Pro is a 5,440 mAh battery with 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. The standard X300 gets a slightly smaller 5,360 mAh unit, but both juice up quickly via USB 3.2 Gen 1.

Cameras that push boundaries

Photography is where the X300 series really flexes. The X300 Pro sports a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 100× digital zoom and 8K video recording. Meanwhile, the X300 goes all-in with a 200 MP main shooter, supported by a 50 MP ultrawide and 50 MP periscope camera. Both share a crisp 50 MP front camera for selfies.

Global rollout and international pricing

The X300 Pro starts at EUR 1,399 or about ₹1.43 lakh) for the sole 16+512 GB model, while the X300 begins at EUR 1,049 or about ₹1.08 lakh) for 12+256 GB. For colours, we have options like Phantom Black and Dune Brown for the Pro, while the vanilla, non-Pro model comes in Phantom Black and Halo Pink.

India launch

The Indian smartphone market has seen Vivo emerge as the top-shipping smartphone brand in the last couple of months, beating out brands like Samsung, Apple, and even other Chinese smartphone makers like Oppo, OnePlus, Realme and Xiaomi. Naturally, then, the interest around Vivo’s upcoming flagship is massive. If some leaks and sources are to be believed, we might be looking at a December launch.
