The wait is finally over. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s much-anticipated dream home, the Krishna Raj bungalow, is now complete. While we have been seeing glimpses of the under-construction building for a while now, it looks like the Kapoor family can finally move in.
If reports are to be believed, the house costs Rs 250 crore, and it’s nothing short of a spectacle.
Here are some more details about the bungalow:
Located in the heart of Bandra, Mumbai, this iconic six-storey mansion has quickly become the most talked-about celebrity residence in Bollywood. Named after Ranbir’s late grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, the bungalow has been in the news for some time now.
Now reimagined for a new generation, it has been rebuilt and redesigned into a contemporary palace. According to Architectural Digest, the design was spearheaded by Kunal Maniar & Associates.
The architecture company has also done other celebrity houses, including the Ambanis' and MS Dhoni.
Featuring biophilic design elements, the aesthetic is all about blending nature with elegance. From the outside at least, it seems to achieve this with its green balconies!
Though not all interiors have been made public, the aesthetic of the new home is already sparking intrigue. Alia Bhatt’s personal style is quirky, warm, and full of life, which was very evident from her first apartment.
On the other hand Ranbir had lived in the Vastu apartment with a more muted, understated luxury vibe.
Whethere loud and dramatic or subtle and classy, one thing is sure, the couple’s house will be filled with pictures of their child Raha and more references to their lucky number ‘8’.
The Krishna Raj bungalow valued at approximately Rs 250 crore, it has overtaken Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Mannat’ and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Jalsa’ in both size and value, according to Bollywood Life.
Talking about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the duo has been doing well in the film front.
Ranbir will next be seen in ‘Ramayana’ as Lord Ram. The film is being helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and it also stars Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol and Yash in pivotal roles.
