Robert Vadra, businessman and husband of Congress MP Priyanka Vadra, has said that he is “not scared of anyone” and is being targeted because he is relevant. The statement came after Vadra appeared before the Enforcement Directorate for questioning again on Wednesday. He was summoned by the investigative agency in the alleged Gurugram land scam.
Accompanied by his wife and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Robert Vadra arrived at the ED office for the second consecutive day in the Gurugram land case. The two share a hug as Robert Vadra entered the ED office.
Speaking to media later he said, "Hum kisi se darte nahi hai...We are the target because we are relevant. Whether Rahul Gandhi is stopped in the parliament or I am stopped outside. We are the target for sure but we are not the soft target, we are the hard target.”
Talking about the probe he said, ".When this investigation was done in Haryana, the administration found that there was nothing wrong. Khattar ji gave me a clean chit in the same case. I fail to understand why am I being questioned after 7 years again."
Vadra, who has on multiple occasions expressed his desire to join politics, also said, “I am not going to run away from the country. I will answer all the questions. I have no issues, use as many agencies as you want."
