The United Nations has warned that Gaza is slipping into famine. And calls to quell Israel's crackdown are starting to come from within. 31 Israeli prominent figures have urged the international community for strict sanctions on the state. The concerns were expressed in a letter that Guardian published on July 29, as aid has started to trickle into Gaza.
