Police have linked the Red Fort blast to a recently busted Jaish module in Faridabad.
According to The Indian Express, J&K police suspect the explosion was carried out by an associate of the doctors arrested in Faridabad. The same ones with the 350 kg cache of explosives.
In his first statement after the blast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised not to spare any of the conspirators responsible for the attack.
PM Modi made the comments whilst on a two-day visit to neighbouring Bhutan where he will join the 70th birthday celebrations of the Himalayan nation’s king, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The two leaders will then jointly inaugurate the 1020 megawatt hydroelectric project developed jointly by India and Bhutan.
Bihar sees 67.14% voter turnout in phase 2
Shifting focus to the Bihar assembly elections - the second and final phase of polls were held today. Despite tightened security arrangements, the state recorded a 67.14% voter turnout as of 5 pm - officially the highest-ever provisionally recorded turnout at close of polling.
All eyes will now be on the counting of votes on November 14.

Meanwhile, neighbouring Pakistan too is in mourning. This after at least 12 people were killed in a suicide bombing outside a district court building in Pakistan’s capital of Islamabad.
According to local media, the blast was so powerful that it could be heard 6 kilometers away.
