Shiv Sena (Shinde) MP Naresh Mhaske has demanded an apology from standup comedian Kunal Kamra for his jibe at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and has threatened that Shiv Sainiks will not let Kamra roam freely till he does so.

Kamra Is A Hired Comedian: Mhaske

Mhaske said, “Kunal Kamra is a hired comedian, and he is making comments on our leader for some money. Let alone Maharashtra, Kunal Kamra cannot freely go anywhere in India, Shiv Sainiks will show him his place.”Mhaske added, “We feel sorry for Sanjay Raut and Shiv Sena (UBT) that they have no party workers or leaders left to make comments on our leader, which is why they are hiring people like him (Kunal Kamra) for the job. We follow the ideology of Balasaheb Thackeray, and we will make sure Kunal Kamra is not free to move around- neither in Maharashtra nor in the country. Kunal Kamra will get a befitting reply, and he will come and apologise for his mistake."

Kunal Kamra’s Controversial Act

The warning comes after Kamra triggered a political row with his controversial remarks against the Maharashtra Deputy CM. During his performance at the Habitat, Kamra, without naming Eknath Shinde, referred to him breaking away from the Shiv Sena to join hands with the BJP to form a government in the state. Kamra also said, “Meri nazar se tum dekho toh gaddar nazar woh aaye (If you look at it from my perspective, you will see a traitor).”

Habitat Vandalised, Protests In Thane

Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) workers also vandalised Habitat Comedy Club in Khar, Mumbai where Kunal Kamra had made the controversial remarks against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister.

In Thane, Maharashtra, members of Yuva Sena (youth wing of Shiv Sena) staged a protest against comedian Kunal Kamra and even burnt his photographs outside Wagle Estate Police Station, after his remarks against Maharashtra DCM Eknath Shinde in a show yesterday.
