Pakistan on Wednesday shamelessly admitted to its role in the deadly Red Fort bombing that claimed 15 innocent lives.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, who was ousted as ‘Prime Minister’ of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir two days ago, warned India to back off Balochistan or else Pakistan will attack “from Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir”.
While Pakistan has not yet formally commented on Haq’s statement, the threat comes as Islamabad repeatedly accuses India of fomenting unrest in its Balochistan province - something that New Delhi categorically denies.
Importantly, this is not the first time that a Pakistani politician has come clean on Islamabad’s dirty tactics. Just a couple of days back, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi exposed the Pakistan government’s terror policy.
In an interview with Afghan-based TOLO News, Afridi declared that Islamabad routinely benefits from “fake” terrorist attacks in his province. Further accusing the government of “manufacturing terrorism” for its political agenda.
Curiously, Haq’s statements came a day after Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s warning that Operation Sindoor was merely an “88 hour trailer”, adding that India is fully prepared to educate Pakistan on how “a responsible nation should behave with its neighbours”.
