Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed to pursue Pahalgam terrorists and their backers to the 'ends of the earth'. In his first public meeting after the April 22 tragedy in Kashmir, PM described the strike in Jammu and Kashmir as an attack on India's faith.Addressing a rally in Madhubani, Bihar, PM Modi switched to English and sent a message to the global community stating, "I say to the whole world. India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India's spirit will never be broken by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done. The entire nation is firm in this resolve."
Prime Minister Modi also expressed his gratitude to the global community for standing with India in these tough times. PM said, "Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders who have stood with us in this time.”The moment of silenceBefore addressing the rally, Prime Minister Modi led the crowd in Madhubani, Bihar in eastern India into a moment of silence to honour the victims who lost their lives in the terror attack. He said during his speech that “Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done.” PM Modi added, "On April 22, terrorists killed innocent people of the country in J&K's Pahalgam. The country is sad and in pain after this incident. We stand with the families of the victims. The terrorists will not be spared, strong action will be taken against them. The punishment will be significant and stringent, which these terrorists would have never even thought about."PM Modi also talked about the willpower of 140 crore Indians and stated, “I want to say in very clear words that these terrorists and those who conspired towards this attack will get a punishment bigger than they can imagine. The willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the back of the masters of terror."
