Gautam Gambhir’s latest press conference created headlines once again — especially his comment: “People who are not even from this domain are giving advice on split coaching.”

Many fans immediately connected this statement to Parth Jindal, the 50% owner of Delhi Capitals, who had tweeted after India lost the Test series in South Africa that the national team should consider a specialist red-ball coach. Although Gambhir didn’t name anyone, the timing reignited speculation across social media.

But here’s the reality: in India, every individual has the right to have an opinion on cricket. And someone like Parth Jindal, who has played a major role in Indian sports — from founding ISL franchises to building T20 teams and investing in elite sports programs — has contributed meaningfully to the ecosystem. His JSW initiatives helped athletes like Neeraj Chopra and Sakshi Malik.

Right or wrong, his opinion deserves space — and the public will always judge it.
