US President Donald Trump has reiterated his claims regarding the United States' crucial role in brokering peace between India and Pakistan, stating that he urged both sides to "not trade nuclear missiles, but trade the things that you make so beautifully."

President Trump is currently in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the first leg of a three-stop tour of West Asia. This marks his first major foreign policy visit abroad after returning to the White House for a non-consecutive second term.
India Pakistan Ceasefire Deal Claims
During his address, Trump reiterated claims regarding his administration’s efforts, saying, "Just days ago, my administration successfully brokered a historic ceasefire to stop the escalating violence between India and Pakistan, and I used trade to a large extent to do it." He made these remarks in a significant foreign policy speech, with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in the audience.
Trump went on to talk about the leadership of both nations, saying, "They both have very powerful leaders, very strong leaders, good leaders, smart leaders. And it all stopped."
Marco Rubio’s Role
