Motorola’s new Moto G67 Power 5G comes with a simple design, a pretty solid display, AI-powered cameras and a 7,000mAh battery, front and centre.

Motorola has launched the Moto G67 Power 5G in India, and this one is built around battery life first. It comes with a 7,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 under the hood, and a soft vegan leather back available in three Pantone-picked colours: Blue Curacao, Parachute Purple, and Cilantro. Storage options are simple too; 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB.

Before we get into the review, here’s a straight, close look at what the Moto G67 Power offers out of the box, and the features you should know upfront.

The Unboxing experience

The box is exactly what you’d expect from Motorola: plain cardboard box, with very subtle branding, and no plastic wrapping on the outside. The lid lifts easily, and the phone sits at the top, wrapped in a thin sheet of paper instead of a plastic sleeve. Under it, there’s a slim cardboard envelope that holds the basic paperwork and the SIM eject tool. Below that, the accessories section includes a 33W charging brick along with a USB-A to USB-C cable. The whole setup is minimal and uncluttered.

Design and colour options

The unit we have here is in the Blue Curacao finish, which is one of three Pantone-curated shades. The other two are Parachute Purple and Cilantro. All three feature a vegan leather back, giving the phone a soft, matte texture that doesn’t feel slippery.

The camera module sits in the upper left corner in a simple rectangular shape. The phone is 8.6mm thick and weighs around 210g, which feels in line with the large battery inside.

Display and durability

The front of the phone has a 6.7-inch FullHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i covers the front.

Motorola has also given the phone MIL-810H durability testing and an IP64 rating for protection against dust and light splashes, so it is built to handle the usual everyday handling.

Performance and software

The Moto G67 Power 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It is available in two configurations: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Motorola also allows RAM Boost, which can extend memory virtually up to 24GB.

The phone runs Android 15, and Motorola has confirmed one major Android version update along with three years of security patches.

Cameras

The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a flicker sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP camera in a centre punch-hole.

The camera app includes familiar modes like Dual Capture, Timelapse, Slow Motion, and Audio Zoom. Video recording is available up to 1080p at 30fps.

Audio and battery

There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and Google’s Gemini AI assistance is built into the software experience. The 7,000mAh battery is the standout hardware piece here, and it is clearly the focus of this device.

Inital thoughts

That’s the Moto G67 Power 5G out of the box. The focus here is clearly on the big battery, the simple design choices, and a spec sheet that keeps things practical. From the looks of it, the Moto G67 Power seems to be quite an interesting choice for a budget device, that's priced under ₹20,000. As to how exactly it is to live with, we’ll know only after spending some time using it in real conditions and testing what the charging pattern is, how is the screen really holds up, how the cameras perform and everyday performance etc., so do stay tuned.
