Oppo is turning up the cool factor, literally, with its upcoming K13 Turbo series in India. These aren’t your average mid-range phones — they’ve got built-in fans, air ducts, and a massive vapour chamber to keep things chill while gaming or multitasking.

The tech giant also launched the Oppo K13x just a couple of months ago, and we were super impressed by just how tough the device was! Just as we were impressed by the F29 Series by Oppo.

The K13 Turbo series has already been launched in China and is now confirmed to hit Indian shores soon, with Flipkart teasing their arrival via a dedicated microsite.

Here's a tweet Oppo put out:

Oppo K13 Turbo is built for India’s heat

Oppo made the announcement on X and through a press note, teasing the arrival of the Oppo K13 Turbo 5G series. While the teaser doesn’t name specific models, it’s pretty clear that both the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro will make their way to India. According to sources, the phones are expected to drop in early August, although an exact date is still under wraps.

The Flipkart landing page confirms the phones will be sold through the e-commerce platform, which suggests we might see launch offers or early-bird discounts as part of the rollout.

Performance, display, and internals: What we know so far

If the Indian variants match their Chinese counterparts — which seems likely — here’s what to expect. The K13 Turbo Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the base K13 Turbo runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450. Both chips are solid performers in the upper mid-range segment.

The phones come with 6.80-inch AMOLED displays offering a crisp 1.5K resolution (1280 x 2800) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of memory and storage, both models are expected to offer up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

One of the big standout features? Thermal performance. Oppo has packed these phones with inbuilt fans, air ducts, and a massive 7,000mm² vapour chamber to keep temperatures under control during gaming or multitasking. You’re also getting IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, which is rare in this segment.

Both phones sport a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor, along with a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. They’re backed by a 7,000mAh battery and support 80W wired fast charging, which should comfortably power you through the day and then some.

Expected pricing

As for the price? In China, the Oppo K13 Turbo is priced at CNY 1,799 (approx ₹21,600) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The K13 Turbo Pro is a bit higher at CNY 1,999 (around ₹24,000). Expect similar pricing when they hit Indian shelves. The devices are likely to be launched sometime mid to end August.
