Google’s latest findings indicate that several Android phones, including the Pixel 10 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Moto Razr+ 2025, outshine the iPhone 17 in areas like spam detection and fraud prevention. These devices leverage Google’s machine-learning systems and layered AI security that actively screen calls and messages in real time. In fact, Android users benefit from built-in call screening, live scam alerts, and message filtering that flags suspicious content before it even reaches the inbox.
Billions of scams are blocked every month
The scale of Android’s security operation is massive. Google reports that its systems block billions of scam calls and texts every month, analyzing behavior patterns and sender data to detect fraud faster than ever.
What’s even more striking is the breadth of protection. According to Counterpoint’s analysis, Android currently covers ten key categories of security threats, from phishing and malware to social-engineering scams. At the same time, iOS reportedly focuses on only two of these areas by default.
