It dealt with the maintenance rights of a divorced Muslim woman under Section 125 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Yami Gautam plays the role of Shazia Bano, who challenges the societal and legal norms in the court and fights a case against her husband, played by Emraan Hashmi. The film is directed by Suparn S Varma and will be released in theatres on November 7, 2025.
