Are you also excited for the upcoming reported collab between Enrique Iglesias and Shah Rukh Khan? If reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan might be teaming up with global pop sensation Enrique Iglesias for a song in his upcoming film ‘King’. While the news has yet to be confirmed, the mere rumour has sent fans into a frenzy. After all, it wouldn’t be the first time an international artist has turned their mic towards Bollywood.

Revisiting Bollywood’s global collabs

Tata Young

In 2004, Thai pop sensation Tata Young made India groove to the electrifying title track of 'Dhoom'. Her catchy voice and vibrant energy perfectly matched the film’s adrenaline-fuelled vibe, and everyone was completely obsessed with her song.

Snoop Dogg

Fast forward to 2008, and another international name made waves — Snoop Dogg. The American rapper collaborated with Akshay Kumar for Singh Is Kinng, bringing his signature hip-hop flair to a desi beat. With his turban look and Punjabi-infused rap verses, Snoop Dogg didn’t just sing for Bollywood — he became part of its universe, however briefly.

Kylie Minogue

The same year, Kylie Minogue, the Australian pop diva known for global hits like “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” teamed up with A.R. Rahman for 'Blue’s track Chiggy Wiggy, starring Akshay Kumar. The fusion of Kylie’s soft pop vocals and Rahman’s layered Indian beats created an unforgettable earworm that still plays at parties and retro playlists.

Akon

And of course, Akon took things a step further in 2011 when he sang Chammak Challo and Criminal for Shah Rukh Khan’s sci-fi film 'Ra.One'. The combination of Akon’s smooth international vocals and desi rhythm made Chammak Challo an instant global hit. It wasn’t just a Bollywood number — it was a cultural crossover that even international audiences danced to.

If the rumours about Enrique Iglesias joining the lineup for King are true, it could mark another milestone in Bollywood’s growing trend of international collaborations. With Enrique’s romantic pop style and SRK’s screen presence, the potential for a chart-topping track is sky-high.

So, tell us which international-Bollywood collab still gets stuck in your head?
